The big apple

We had a great trip to NYC with Stephen and Taylor! We left on Thursday, Dec 9 and met them at our hotel, the Helmsley. We went for a great dinner at Carmine's. Great Italian food! We went and had cheesecake at Juniors. Friday, Taylor and I got up and went to the Today show. We had our AU signs and shakers, the camera didn't come to us, so we went to it! Some say they saw us running around the corner and jumping in the background to try to get in the shot!

The guys joined us much later for Breakfast at the Rockerfeller Center, where we could see a great view of the Ice Skating and the tree!

We saw the sites, Radio City Music Hall, FAO Schwartz, etc and Central Park. We had lunch at the Boat House in Central Park where the movie 27 dress was.

Friday night we saw the play Wicked. Very good, better than I thought it would be!

Saturday we toured SoHo, Little Italy, China Town, saw the Statue of Liberty. Then we went to the Best Buy theater and watched Chizik, Cam Newton and the other Heisman candidates enter the theater. What a Tiger Walk!!! So many AU fans! It was incredible.

We got on the subway and headed to an AWESOME dinner at Abe & Arthurs. Best steak I've ever had!!

War Eagle from the Subway!

Sunday we got up, went to eat some great NY Pizza at John's Pizza. We went to Magnolia Bakery and got Stephen a birthday cupcake, Happy Birthday Stephen! Taylor and I hit up the HUGE Anthropologie and then we headed off to the airport. Little did we know that was a wasted trip! Flights cancelled and no other flight for us until Monday at 2:45, so back to the city we go! Stuart and I ended up having another great dinner, walking around the Plaza, Saks, saw a couple get engaged at the Rockerfeller Center (sweet), and I did the running man for my parents and sister and Jeremy on the Times Square Cam. Nice!

What a great trip! Can't wait to go back again, but going at Christmas time is a must!

What a great weekend!

I wanted to share what a great weekend I had!

Friday it started with some great friends and some painting! We went to the latest "Painting with a Purpose" and had a great time! I will try to get some pictures on here so you can see the ending results of our painting!

Saturday I met my mom and sister for our 3rd annual girls shopping trip! It started out at the American Girl store, Target and then the best outlets ever (Dawsonville, GA). We had such a great time, got some Christmas shopping done and got to visit and catch up!

I love my friends and family!

I have a blog?

I didn't even remember that I started this, so instead of continuing to post pictures on Shutterfly, I think I will take over the blog again.
